Scientific Posters

I have created dozens of award winning scientific posters over the years using high-end graphics software. Software such as Adobe Illustrator and InDesign can produce much more precise results and effects than standard PowerPoint templates.

2009 Awards (Scott Holmes designed posters)

Jacqueline Lappin et al, received a Poster of Distinction award at the American Transplant Congress (ATC), The 9th Joint Annual Meeting of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American Society of Transplantation, for their poster entitled, “Successful Transplantation of Donor Specific Antibody Positive, Crossmatch Negative (AHG/FCXM) Renal Allograft Recipients,” Boston, MA, May 30, 2009.

Zsolt Kaposztas et al, received a Poster of Distinction award at the American Transplant Congress (ATC), The 9th Joint Annual Meeting of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American Society of Transplantation, for their poster entitled, “Adverse Impact of Sirolimus on Development of New Onset Diabetes after Transplantation,” Boston, MA, May 30, 2009.

CeTIR presenters win poster award at Veeco Seeing the Nanoscale VII - Drs. Zaske, Danila, Queen, Golunski and Conyers received recognition for scientific excellence for their poster entitled, "Using Biological AFM to Image Gold-labeled Liposomes at Human Coronary Endothelial Cell (HCAEC) Membranes," July 2009.

First Place Winner for Outstanding patient safety and quality improvement project entitled, "Improving Blood Product Delivery to the Operating Room for Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery," Felix W. Tsai, MD et al, October 15-16, 2009, Austin, TX, CS&E Conference.

Michelle L. Scerbo, was awarded the C. Frank Webber Prize for Student Research at the 2009 Annual Research Poster Symposium held during the AMA-RFS Interim Assembly Meeting in Houston, Texas on November 5, 2009
